Deer Run has various equestrian ranches and Mediterranean style homes within the town of Loxahatchee. Many of its homes have built –in barns and stables. The home range from 2,500-4,000 square feet that sit on lots that are 5-10 acres.

 Loxahatchee Groves is a countryside residential area in Loxahatchee that is cradled in between Wellington to the south, Royal Palm Beach to the east and The Acreage to the north and west. The residents in the area felt the need to preserve the rural country atmosphere so they formed the Committee to Incorporate Loxahatchee Groves. They are currently seeking approval from the State of Florida to become the 38th community in Palm Beach County. Home sites within the community range from a quarter-acre to 20-plus acres, so there is plenty of room for nature lovers and quiet, non-congested living. Single-family homes are available in a great variety of styles and price ranges. The area is also known for having predominately dirt roads that people with an equestrian interest enjoy. Some of the equestrian owners enjoy riding their horses on the dirt roads and the trails in the Natural Area located near North Road and E Road. There are also new trails being developed along the western side of the canals that run north and south and the major east and west roads.

The beautiful community of White Fences is a gated community in Loxahatchee that is 5 miles outside of Wellington and is home to some of the top quality Palm Beach County equestrian estates. It is located near I-95 and the Florida Turnpike but also provides as a great community for solitude and privacy.
