Right here in Loxahatchee a great lady, Judy Berens, opened a sanctuary for unwanted large cats. They are regal animals that deserve to be treated royally. People who thought they could keep them as pets soon found themselves at Panther Ridge. You can actually visit the conservation center and see these magnificent animals.
